Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead and execute Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in 3D BIM coordination, have extensive hands-on experience using Autodesk Navisworks, BIM 360 (Autodesk Construction Cloud), or similar platforms, and possess a strong understanding of construction means and methods. This role requires exceptional communication, organizational, and technical skills to support project teams, consultants, and trade partners throughout the coordination lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Coordination & Model Management

  • Lead and manage 3D BIM coordination efforts across multiple trades and disciplines.

  • Aggregate, review, and maintain federated models using Autodesk Navisworks and BIM 360.

  • Identify, track, and resolve clashes through structured coordination processes.

  • Oversee model versioning, file organization, and adherence to project BIM standards.

Trade Partner Collaboration

  • Work closely with trade partners to ensure timely and accurate model submissions.

  • Facilitate weekly or bi-weekly coordination meetings, presenting issues clearly and professionally.

  • Guide subcontractors in BIM deliverables, model development progression, and content standards.

  • Communicate coordination impacts, design changes, and constructability concerns to all stakeholders.

Construction Integration

  • Interpret models in the context of real-world construction means and methods.

  • Provide field teams with model-based insights for planning, logistics, sequencing, and installation.

  • Collaborate with project engineers and superintendents to ensure model accuracy aligns with field conditions.

  • Support development of model-based schedules, 4D/5D workflows, and construction documentation.

Quality Control & Standards

  • Implement and enforce project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).

  • Maintain consistency of modeling practices across trade partners.

  • Develop internal BIM workflows, templates, and quality standards to improve coordination efficiency.

  • Conduct training sessions for project teams on BIM software and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in BIM coordination, VDC, or related construction technology role.

  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Navisworks (Manage) and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud.

  • Familiarity with Revit, Bluebeam, or other relevant modeling/coordination tools.

  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-discipline trade coordination on complex projects.

  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, building systems, and sequencing.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with 4D/5D workflows, model-based quantity takeoffs, or advanced visualization.

  • Knowledge of scripting or automation (Dynamo, Python, APIs) is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

  • LiDAR experience is a plus.

  • Drone Part-107 License is a plus.
