Job Summary:
Envision Construction is seeking an experienced and dedicated Residential Project Manager to oversee and manage residential construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of residential construction processes. This role is critical to ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
Budget Management:
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budget.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Quality Control:
- Ensure all work meets Envision Construction's high standards for quality and craftsmanship.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
Safety Management:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and site audits.
Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates on project status and address any client concerns or requests.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Prepare and submit regular project reports to senior management.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor project teams to achieve project goals.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing residential construction projects from start to finish.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work on construction sites in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, as necessary to meet project deadlines.
